Attached is a letter that Congresswoman Nita Lowey emailed to HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan last Tuesday, March 19, expressing her concerns regarding Westchester County not receiving the “most impacted” designation in the first round of CDBG funding for Sandy relief. She has subsequently spoken directly to the Secretary, and our staff and the HUD staff are in frequent communication.
The Westchester County Charter Revision Commission will hold a public forum on Wednesday, April 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Westchester County Center in conference room “H” to present a summary of its work to date and to receive public comment regarding the issues being discussed by the Commission.
