WMOA is a valuable organization of local officials working together, exchanging information and ideas and exploring solutions to help provide the residents in each of our communities with the best possible and highest quality of life in the most efficient manner.

Local officials have always worked cooperatively to find innovative and efficient solutions to the issues we all face and we will continue to do so. However, as an organization of representatives from each village, town and city in Westchester County, we have the unique opportunity to use our collective voice to advocate for issues that impact us all.

It is my hope that the WMOA can focus on particular issues and we can use our collective voice to strengthen our advocacy as we deal with these issues. Our collective voice is stronger than our individual voices.

Thank you for the opportunity to lead this organization and I look forward to working with all of you in the coming year, and seeing you at the next Executive Committee meeting.

Sincerely,

Peter Scherer
Mayor of Pleasantville
WMOA President
