A Letter From Our President

Dear WMOA Members,

I look forward to serving as President of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association. I am particularly honored to be working with fellow officers, Nancy Seligson, Peter Parsons, Peter Scherer and Steve Ecklond. I would like to extend a special thank you to Warren Lucas for his service and dedication this past year.

I think WMOA is a valuable organization. It is local officials, working together, exchanging information and ideas and exploring solutions to help provide the residents in each of our communities with the best possible and highest quality of life in the most efficient manner.

Local officials have always worked cooperatively to find innovative and efficient solutions to the issues we all face and we will continue to do so. However, as an organization of representatives from each village, town and city in Westchester County, we have the unique opportunity to use our collective voice to advocate for issues that impact us all.

It is my hope that the WMOA can focus on particular issues and we can use our collective voice to strengthen our advocacy as we deal with these issues. Our collective voice is stronger than our individual voices.

Thank you for the opportunity to lead this organization and I look forward to working with all of you in the coming year, and seeing you at the next Executive Committee meeting at Noon on Thursday, June 22.

Sincerely,

Nancy Kaboolian
